ABOUT

I am a Lee University graduate who loves to study complete books of the Bible. Over the years I have done studies on Genesis, Proverbs 1-12, and James.  Make sure you read the welcome page were I spell out all the details about my current work.

I am also doing some writing on the side for Good New Christian Magazine.   Because of this some of the lengthy material on these books of the Bible has been taken off the site. I have decided to offer more devotional and shorter articles. That is why I enjoy Kindle Vella.  I have been blogging since 2013.

I am currently a member of North Cleveland Church of God in Cleveland TN.  However, I have been a member of a lot of great churches and denominations throughout the body of Christ that have deeply touched my life.  I am still praying about where all of this is going.  For now, I am pursuing a career as a writer.  Thanks for liking, subscribing, and sharing the message of Christ.

The Lord has been impressing upon me the concept of a great cloud of witnesses found in the book of Hebrews. We truly do have great witnesses in the cloud web environment.  So keep doing what you do. Thanks. I watched a sermon by Mitch Maloney that was on YouTube.  It blessed me tremendously.  The word of God and sermons that Pastors preach should continue to impact the world even after the conference is over.  Thank God for YouTube and the Internet to help that happen.

Recommended books You do not have to read this I am still editing this section and may even put in in another section.   One day I may even be a book reviewer or editor.

Remember if you are not praying you are not getting close to God and missing His will to reveal His greatness in your life.

I read a book entitled God Has An Answer For Our Unmet Needs.  by Charles Stanley.  I would thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who has struggled with unanswered prayers or questions in their life.  It really is a wonderful resource that helped me to see God's provision even in an area where I thought or felt that God had not answered my prayer or there was a delay that caused me to feel like God had failed.  This was a totally wrong perception of my situation.  Once I was able to understand that God does not have to do everything that I want Him to.  He does not have to give us everything we want but he does promise to give us what we need.  He is God and He knows best.  I was struggling with the fact that I had prayed for many years about my eyes.  I was continually squinting.  I felt defeated in my prayer life or a little down about the situation.  I was reading Charles Stanley's book.    It helped me to ask God to show me His provision.  Remember we follow God.  God showed me how glasses were His provision.  I had prayed for my healing because I did not want to wear glasses.  It was sort of a pride issue for me.  God also showed me while I was making a video on my computer that I did not look so good when I was squinting.   However, when I put on my glasses I looked better and there was no noticeable squinting.  God by His grace helped me to get over my pride in having to wear glasses.  Of course, God resists the proud.  For some reason, God did not choose to heal my eyes at this time.  Though He may or may not be in the future. God is faithful even when we don't see it.  That is okay because He is God and He takes care of me.  He has the right to say yes, or no, or wait for our requests to Him.  He is after all God.  We are following His plan and should be sensitive to His leading.  One of the things I remind myself when I am faced with situations like this in regard to unanswered prayer is that we get a lot more than we could ever deserve with God.

Thanks and God Bless
